The Torcal is powered by a highly advanced electric drivetrain, the absolute cutting edge of EV technology. This drivetrain produces up to 876 horsepower and 996 lb-ft of torque in the Torcal S, making it the most powerful road-going Bentley model ever. The Torcal goes from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, or 2.8 seconds for the Torcal S. But the most important innovation is the battery. The Torcal gets up to 375 miles of driving range, despite the enormous power it produces. It’s also capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent on a DC fast charger in just 16 minutes, an industry-leading time. The rapid propulsion of the Torcal is accompanied by a soundtrack that is inspired by the iconic 6 ¾-liter Bentley V8 and was recorded by actual musicians.
Refined Interior
The interior of the Torcal is distinct from its stablemates, yet remains quintessentially Bentley. The design of the dash is inspired by Benltey’s own winged logo, and it incorporates a curved OLED screen for maximum usability with minimum design disruption. The Torcal offers the usual high-quality materials and finishes, but also introduces some new ones that lean into sustainability as much as luxury. This includes Merino wool upholstery supplied by Fox Borthers, a textile firm from Somerset that has supplied the UK’s finest clothiers since the 18th century. There is also a dashboard veneer, Ombré Walnut by Mulliner. This is made of up to 1,000 layers of individually selected layers of wood and craft paper pressed together to create a color transition that spans the dash. And for those who consider an audiophile-grade listening experience an essential part of the luxury experience, there is a 1,780-watt, 28-speaker Naim stereo system with Dolby Atmos® capability.

Bentley didn’t stop at the drivetrain when it came to innovative technology. The Torcal is the first Bentley model to come with a fully active suspension. Adaptive two-valve dampers can be individually controlled in an instant, thereby ushering in a new standard for ride comfort. Cutting-edge brake technology is also available in the form of a Carbon Silicon Carbide (CSiC) braking system. All four doors can be automatically opened and closed, with the close function initiated by simply fastening your seat belt. And the Frosted Diamond switchable-glass sunroof lets you tailor the exact amount of light you wish to let through. The Torcal has the ability to park itself, using a sophisticated series of sensors that protect the bodywork from bumps and the wheels from scratches. And to help reduce the need for the driver to take their eyes off the road, there is an augmented reality head-up display, which projects things like navigational information that aligns with real-world turns and hazards.
